GLOSSY GIRLS 

Destinee Duncan a 13 yr old fashion designer from McKinney, Texas born and raised in Flint, Michigan has been making her name known around the United States with her girls clothing line called Glossy Girls. 

 

Destinee has been creating and sketching fashion designs since she was only 8 years old. Also a actress, this little fashionista was the youngest fashion designer to appear with her Glossy Girls designs at Austin Fashion Week in 2014 at the age of 10. Destinee Glossy Girls line has graced the runway at Atlanta Fashion Week, Fire & Ice Runway Show, Fashion Week Dallas Premier Show, NOLA Fashion Week, Fashion X Dallas, and Dallas Teen Fashion Week where she was presented with the Young Talented & Gifted Award in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Destinee was also selected to be an Ambassador for Justice Girls Store "Girls With Heart Program". 

 

Annually Destinee puts on a runway show called "Glossy Girls Walk the Runway" which promotes youth girls empowerment giving girls self confidence and courage. The launch of this event premiered in Flint, Michigan in 2015, Plano, Texas in 2016, and returned back to Flint, Michigan in 2017. 

 

Destinee loves doing runway shows because she gets to express herself through her designs to show the world chic, high fashion, couture clothing seen through a kids eyes to know what most kids would love to wear.
